In collaboration with Cantine Ferrari, the Bubbles Garden is ready and waiting to tempt guests with the sparkling wines and delicious food of Campania.

Ravello – June 2017 Belmond Hotel Caruso, Belmond’s pride and joy on the Amalfi coast, is ready to open the doors to its new Bubbles Garden. The new venture comes from a collaboration with Cantine Ferrari, Italy’s leading producer of protected denomination wines made with the classic method, founded by Giulio Ferrari in Trento in 1902.

The hotel’s sophisticated new garden, set in a stunning Mediterranean oasis, is where head barman Danilo Imbimbo and his team, together with their prestigious partner Ferrari, will be welcoming guests with some of the wine producer’s historic labels (including some fine vintages) served with tasty local delicacies.

In an elegant, informal setting decorated with local ceramics, the Bubbles Garden will be a real attraction for the hotel’s guests and luxury-loving clientele who are increasingly looking for new travel experiences and unique moments where fine wines meet gourmet local food.

The sparkling wines will be accompanied by canapes based on typical Campanian produce. Specialities include the local formaggio carmasciano, cheese made from the milk of rare-breed sheep (only 50,000 animals still remain in the Campanian Appenines), anchovy syrup with Gennaro Castiello’s renowned prosciutto di Cetara (no, not cured ham but salted anchovies) and gourmet pasta dishes created by our Chef Mimmo di Raffaele using pasta Vicidomini, which comes from the sixth generation of a family tradition that dates back to the early 19th century.

The programme also includes a series of live musical performances by Campanian artists, to accompany the tasting sessions. Guests looking for a more intimate atmosphere can occupy a special corner of the garden where they can chat and get to know each other while sipping an ice-cold glass of sparkling wine.

An elegant venue for an unusual, interesting food and drink experience, the Bubbles Garden is a lively, sociable addition to the Hotel’s restaurant offer, perhaps as a prelude to a gourmet dinner at Ristorante Belvedere, a splendid terrace overlooking the coast, and home to Executive Chef Mimmo di Raffaele. The Hotel also has a long-established bar known as Il Loggiato, and a Pool Terrace which as its name suggests is close to the hotel’s infinity pool.

Cantine Ferrari
Founded in 1902 by Giulio Ferrari, Cantine Ferrari of Trento is Italy’s leading classic winery. Since 1952, the business has been run by the Lunelli family, who have never compromised on quality, remaining true to the classic method and choosing Trentino as the preferred region to grow their vines. Ferrari, always a famous name in Italian sparkling wines, has exported its Trentodoc labels to more than 50 countries, where they are served at the most prestigious corporate, cultural, showbusiness and sporting occasions. Since 1906, when Ferrari won a Gold Medal at the Milan World Exhibition, it has received unparalleled recognition including titles such as “Producer of the Year” and winner of the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships.
